Marriott International posted 11 new full-time jobs in Kampala between 21 and 30 October 2026, according to its own careers site. They are a housekeeper, a utility cleaner (steward), a recreation attendant, a spa receptionist, a carpenter, a painter, a maintenance worker, a kitchen technician, an assistant cost controller, an outlet manager and an engineering manager.

Four of the jobs ask for no related work experience. The housekeeper and the steward adverts don't ask for a high school diploma either. The recreation attendant and spa receptionist adverts prefer a high school diploma or equivalent, and the recreation role also requires CPR and first aid certificates. On Marriott's site, look for the housekeeper under the title HR Service Expert (Housekeeper).

The trades and office jobs ask for more. The maintenance role asks for less than a year of experience, the painter at least one year and a trade or vocational qualification, the carpenter at least two years and the assistant cost controller at least three. The outlet manager needs a high school diploma with four years in food and beverage or a two-year degree with two years, and the engineering manager needs a high school diploma with three years or a two-year degree with one year, plus technical training in HVAC, electrical or plumbing.

The adverts list Kampala but don't name the hotel, and they show no closing date or salary. An advert with no deadline can come down at any time, so apply soon, and ask which hotel it is if you're called. Our catalogue currently lists 45 open Marriott roles in Kampala.

Applying is free, and nobody should pay for a job.
