Role overview
YSAT is seeking a WASH Lead to lead the WASH component of its OCHA-funded Refugee Response Programme — overseeing construction of sanitation facilities, hygiene promotion, Community Hygiene Promoters, distribution of hygiene supplies, and WASH coordination across three settlements.

Supervise three Project Assistants – WASH and coordinate contractors, artisans, and community structures
Represent YSAT in settlement-level WASH coordination meetings with OPM, District Water and Health Offices, UNHCR, and WASH actors
Monitor WASH activities and prepare high-quality monthly and quarterly programme reports
Bachelor's Degree in Water Resources Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Health, Public Health, Water and Sanitation, Environmental Science, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience implementing WASH programmes in humanitarian, refugee, or displacement settings
Demonstrated experience supervising or monitoring construction of dome-shaped/PSN latrines, tippy taps, or similar WASH infrastructure
Experience supervising field teams, CHPs, contractors, artisans, and community structures
Valid motorcycle riding permit is mandatory; prior experience in Uganda refugee settlements is highly desirable
