Role overview
YSAT is recruiting three Project Assistants – WASH to support implementation of WASH activities under its OCHA-funded Refugee Response Programme — including sanitation facility construction support, hygiene promotion, community mobilisation, household WASH awareness, and distribution of hygiene and sanitation supplies.
Implement assigned sanitation and hygiene activities including support to construction of dome-shaped PSN latrines, installation of tippy taps, and distribution of hygiene supplies
Conduct household visits and assessments to identify and verify vulnerable households, including persons with disabilities, older persons, and child-headed households

(CHPs) to conduct household visits, hygiene sensitisation, and behaviour change activities
Engage households, RWCs, and community leaders to promote inclusive participation, ownership, and sustained use of sanitation facilities
Collect, verify, and maintain accurate field information on households reached, facilities constructed, and hygiene promotion activities
Prepare and submit timely field updates, activity reports, monitoring checklists, and photographs
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Public Health, Environmental Health, Water and Sanitation, Environmental Science, Community Development, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience supporting WASH, public health, hygiene promotion, sanitation, or community-based programmes
Practical experience working with Community Hygiene Promoters, VHTs, RWCs, or other community structures is desirable
Valid motorcycle riding permit is mandatory
Prior experience working with Refugee-Led Organizations is a requirement
