webadmin October 16, 2026 Admissions, Uncategorized Advertisement: Graduate Fellowship 2026/2027 Academic Year Vacancies Four (4) Graduate Fellowship positions, open to eligible candidates currently admitted to the Doctor of Laws (LLD) programme. Six (6) fellowship renewals, for existing Graduate Fellows who are required to submit applications for renewal and undergo a fresh assessment of their continued eligibility and suitability. Definition of a Graduate Fellow Graduate Fellow is a student pursuing and advanced degree at Makerere University who is identified within their respective Department or College to facilitate and support the teaching and learning of an academic programme, as appropriate.

sponsibilities Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and support student learning through tutorials, practical sessions and other appropriate teaching activities. Assist in marking and grading students’ assessments. Assist in supervising undergraduate students’ projects. Provide academic guidance and counselling to undergraduate students. Actively participate in departmental research activities. Perform any other duties. Eligibility and Assessment Criteria Applicants shall be assessed based on their academic performance, errolment and registration status, teaching contribution, participation in school activities and overall suitability for the fellowship.
Candidates applying for renewal shall undergo a fresh assessment against these criteria to establish their continued eligibility and suitability for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. Application Procedure Interested and eligible candidates, including existing Graduate Fellows, seeking renewals, are invited to submit their CV (Max 2 Pages), Cover Letter (Ma 1 Page), Academic Documents, Proof of Enrollment, One recommendation Letter and Statement of Achievement. Application Deadline: 16th November 2026. Submission Office: Registrar’ Office, School of Law, Makerere University. All applicants shall be reviewed by the School Graduate Fellowship Selection and Review Committee in accordance with the Makerere University Policy on Appointment of Graduate Fellows.
