Bus Driver

To providetransport services and maintenance of Institutional vehicles in accordancewiththe transport policy. Key Duties and Responsibilities: i. Drivingvehicles forofficial dutyandassignments, ii. Carryingoutbasic maintenanceand cleanliness ofthe vehicle, iii. Reportingmajor technical mechanicalfaults to the supervising officer, iv. Maintainingbasic records regarding the vehicles asinstructed, and; V. Ensuringthe safety ofthe vehicle whileon duty.

Person Specifications

Job requirements and Qualifications: •Should have a minimum qualification ofatleast a Uganda Certificate

in Education(UCE)-0'level),

• Must be in possessionofa,valid driving permit(possessionofclasses;

CM,DL,DM,andDHwill be an added advantage),

• Must be in possession of a driver's badge and a photo issued by

MinistryofWorks and Transport,

•Should be clean,smart,physically and medical fit. Should be smart., clean, physically and medically fit. Possession of good public relations, communication and interpersonal skills is essential. •Should bebetween 30-55years. Competences: Concern forquality and standards;

• Ethics and integrity; and

•Time management.
